La Fête founder Katie Dunn has devoted her career to event planning and production. Whether on the runways of New York City where she coordinated all fashion, jewelry and architectural special events for Swarovski North America, the offices of Classic Party Rentals where as Sales & Marketing Manager she oversaw a six-person sales force and determined the annual product line, or the elegant halls of Chapel Hill’s Carolina Inn where she planned and executed dozens of weddings, Katie’s hands-on approach, unflappable attitude and dedication to detail has equaled success.
Katie holds a BA in communications and psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill, and furthered her studies at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology with coursework in special event design, planning and execution.
She is a member of National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and the International Special Events Society (ISES).
Rebecca Dunn, Event Manager

Rebecca Dunn comes to La Fête with a background in fine art and art history, using her talents in color and design to create truly original events. As a complement to her artistic training, Rebecca has traveled extensively in South America, Europe and Southeast Asia, drawing inspiration from worldwide cultures and style. Before joining La Fête, Rebecca held the position of catering manager at Wyoming’s A Bar A Guest Ranch, one of the oldest and largest guest ranches in the country.
